Rochester for Reproductive Freedom

On Friday UMR students joined us to create 26 care kits for the Rochester Women’s Shelter!! We listened to Chappell Roan, ate pizza, and had the most fun decorating our bags and personalized cards. The kits included things like pads and tampons, razors, and face wash. Thanks to extra donations from you guys, we even got to include face and eye masks, journals, nail polish, and snacks for a mini spa day!! Thank you to everybody who joined us and for those of you who donated last Fall at the Raptor Market!

Today was a devastating loss. It’s understandable to feel a little loss right now. Remember, all of your emotions are valid - anger, disappointment, sadness, worry, vulnerability, anxiousness. It’s been an incredibly long, hard-fought, but worthwhile journey this election season. At this moment, the most important thing is taking care of yourself. Take a deep breath, get off social media, and stay in the present. Soon, we’ll be back in the fight for reproductive freedom, advocating for the rights of ALL Americans. But now, we will rest, recover, and keep a little hope in our hearts.
