We’ve had a whirl wind couple of days-months really. Davian got CT scans done Monday and it’s shown that the cancer has taken an even more aggressive uptake. It has now attacked the liver and lungs, which in turn makes his body weaker than it was so any treatment is too heavy and toxic for him to handle. We had decisions to make and he has made each and every single one of them with full thoughts and questions to each. As of now, we will look for a plan to go home, have a palliative care team to keep him extremely comfortable there and he has chosen to try one more oral medication that could possibly slow the growth to give more time. We all still hold onto every ounce of hope- but we are facing reality because it’s moving so fast and not in our control. We have reached out to every cancer hospital through the US and outside for trial purposes as well as more natural places an options JUST in case, we are leaving no stone left unturned however we are hitting the same answers. Davian wants to go home, enjoy what he can, try this last oral medication, and can stop if his body can’t handle at any time. He wants to be out as long as he can handle but has requested to not be in pain so when that gets too bad he has requested to come back to the hospital. We will tackle each and every day as it comes, we thank everyone for thoughts prayers and support with that we do have A BIG ASK. We are overwhelmed and mentally heavy-all of us, so we ask PLEASE if we do not reach out to you please do not bombard us at this time. Thank you again
