Emergency placement needed for Florence!!

Florence was adopted from us two years ago. She is living in a home with another female dog and fights are suddenly breaking out, they are unsure who is causing the fights but they have asked us to take Florence back.

I will NOT put Florence is boarding where she will live out her life in jail.

Nova Update.. Donations Requested

Today Nova visited the vet where she had x-rays and bloodwork to determine if there was anything concerning with her little legs.

The good news is that Nova has nothing seriously wrong and she will grow out of her bent legs with time and proper nutrition. The bad news is that the bill was $711.49 😩

We did receive a $250 donation toward that bill which will appreciate so much.

Her adoption fee along with all other pups/dogs in the rescue will now be $400. This increase is going forward and as a result of all other costs going up.

We have three gorgeous female puppies available for adoption at this time.

These pups are 10 weeks old, and currently being socialized in loving foster homes.

Today’s $6 Sunday is for our Spay/Neuter fund!

We were able to secure a total of 5 of the puppies from the illegal kennel acting out of Hastings, PA. It is now time for the PA Department of Agriculture to step up and handle the illegal activity and issue the proper fines and close this place down!! It is our responsibility as a rescue to get as many of these pups spayed/neutered. It is not ok to have 32 unaltered puppies floating around the Altoona, PA area, we simply can’t handle that many puppies if they should all reproduce.

We have been helping folks get their personal pets spayed and neutered a good bit lately and we need to have to funds needed so we can offer to help anyone who is willing to spay/neuter!

Church is almost 6 months old and looking to find his forever home. He is the happiest, silliest, clumsiest guy and is looking for a family that is able to dedicate the time to train him and teach him to be the best boy he can be! He needs to focus on potty training and basic training but he is more than willing to learn! He has lived with adult dogs but they have not been thriving with a young, energetic puppy.

My heart is breaking letting this gorgeous boy go but I know Church deserves a family that will give him the time, love and attention he deserves. He is still young, unbelievably adorable and so sweet that I know he will find the best home possible! He was born locally and was taken into my home at 9 weeks old so I know he has had a wonderful life so far!

If you think you are the right family for him, please reach out! He hasn’t been around small kids but I have no apprehensions about him not loving kids! He loves other dogs but can be overwhelming with them. Message the rescue if you are interested! He will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.

Introducing Nova

Nova was found in a box on Kettle Road in Tyrone, PA in a box with a few of her belongings. She was taken to the Central PA Humane Society and our friends there asked us to take her. Although we are on intake hold we made an exception for her because we had an experienced fostered willing to help.

Nova is a dominant sassy female who needs another dog in the home who will properly correct her. Nova also has an issue going on with her legs, that we suspect to be Rickets. She will be seeing the vet next week for further diagnosis.

Nova is not ready for adoption just yet, we need her to see the vet regarding her legs first.

Nova is estimated to be 9 weeks old.

To the dirt bag breeder who is selling puppies out of a van in and around Altoona, PA we know this is one of your puppies and we hope you get your karma for what you are doing to these precious pups. We know it’s coming, just you wait! As if the pet population isn’t bad enough, you are driving around selling puppies out of a van giving zero sh*ts about who gets these babies! Shame shame shame! If I could pull up and buy all of these babies from you I would just to get them to safety, because selling them from a van is not safe, and Nova is proof of that!

Big News..

I honor of our Cinco De Mayo Litter from 2025 to celebrate their 1 year birthday, we have decided to bring a mom and pups or pregnant momma into the rescue.

Margarita’s foster mom and dad are ready for their 2026 litter and although we are on intake hold for 2026 we are going to honor that request.

As soon as we have firm confirmation of which mom and pups we are getting we will post photos and updates.

For now we are going to raise funds in preparations for their arrival and impending expenses.
