It’s been a crazy year, to say the least 😒 Tacos consumed my life 🌮 and that switch, while I’m still convinced was and still is a good one, it cut back on my reading 📖

I’m putting together my 2026 TBR with a smaller goal of 12 (one per month) a much smaller goal, but I think that should be obtainable 😊

For work I have to wear a black shirt under my uniform. So why not spice it up some with a reminder not to eat the cookies & cream ice cream 🤣🤣🤣

This book reminded me a lot of “The Bloody History of the Croissant” by David Halliday in that it tells you not only the history but how it has effected our world today.

It’s a short book, so I was able to listen to it on the way to/from work today, (It made the drive go by much faster lol) but it has a lot of good info and kept me hooked 😊 for example, if you’ve ever wonder why in the US the 15 minute break is required to be paid, this book will answer that 🤯

If you’re a coffee addict (like me) and/or a history nerd (also like me lol) then I’d recommend this one! 🤩

First book of 2025 is completed 🥳
