Today we honor Randolph "Randy" Midkiff and the years of dedication that he provided to the Cave Spring community as a member of the Cave Spring Rescue Squad. His service to the organization was recognized with Life Membership in 1977 but his contribution did not stop there. His commitment lives on through several generations of his family serving in EMS.
Rest easy Randy, we will take if from here.

With heavy hearts, we honor the memory of Laura Clark (4/2/71-8/8/25). Laura was an amazing, kindhearted woman. Â She joined the Cave Spring Auxiliary in April of 2014 after her husband Michael joined the crew. Â She participated in all activities of the auxiliary, whether it was cooking for a meeting, making cravats, delivering breakfast and/or lunch to crew members on standbys, making chocolate Easter eggs, working on the Chicken BBQ fundraiser for the crew, going to businesses to ask for donations for give aways or obtaining and/or delivering items for the Soup for Seniors drive. Â That is just a few of the things she helped with.
In the auxiliary, she held the offices of chaplain, secretary, and vice president. Â In the South-Central District of the Auxiliary to the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads, she held the office of chaplain.
She was active in her church, Raleigh Court United Methodist. Â She was given Life Membership in the Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Michael and her mother. Â Her father preceded her in death.
