We're close to the finish line on the Christiansburg High School renovation and expansion project in Christiansburg, Virginia.

As student enrollment continues to grow, these improvements to the school will help create a more modern, flexible learning environment. Recent milestones include completion of the new addition, first- and second-floor renovations, and upgrades to art, drafting, and general education classrooms.

Now, our team is focused on the final phase: the Career and Technical Education (CTE) wing. Modernized labs, updated learning spaces, and expanded classroom capacity will support new programs and provide students with more opportunities to develop career-ready skills. Expanded space makes for expanded learning.

Things are going swimmingly at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.

Our crew is working hard on replacing the Center’s HVAC system. Now through the first few phases of the project, we’re now working on installing new fabric duct hangers for a brand-new fabric duct. It'll be 18” bigger than what was removed.

The CAC has three different pools, a fitness center, and several event spaces. It’s also been home to the Virginia Tech Swim & Dive team since 2010. Go, Hokies!

Yep. We did that.

Engineering News & Record is out with their annual rankings of the top 400 contractors in the nation, and Branch now ranks 150 in the nation. That's up from 167 last year.

This leap didn't happen by accident. As employee-owners, we show up to the job every single day ready to build with integrity, solve problems, and get the job done.

Progress continues along the Fairfax County Parkway as crews advance median widening operations in preparation for a future traffic shift.

Bridge widening efforts at Braddock Road and Lee Highway remain underway, with work focused on approach slabs and parapet construction. Concrete barrier installation and asphalt paving activities are also ongoing within the median to support the widening work.

As construction progresses, these improvements will help prepare the corridor for future traffic operations and enhance mobility for the traveling public.

How do you preserve an important piece of local history while building a modern school campus designed for future generations of students?

Boldly. And carefully, with purpose and awe.

The W.C. Taylor Middle School in Warrenton, Virginia, was originally built in 1952 as the county’s first high school for Black students. Named after prominent local education William C. Taylor, it served as the only school for Black youth until integration in 1969.

The project includes renovations to the original school building, including interior mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins. We’re also constructing new additions that will include expanded classroom space, a new administrative wing, a competition-sized gymnasium, modernized science labs, an upgraded cafeteria/auditorium, kitchen facilities, and a covered outdoor recreation area for student activities.

Once complete, the transformed campus will serve up to 850 students and provide a modern learning environment while honoring the school’s historic legacy.
