CareForward is hiring a Community Development Manager to connect volunteers and local partners with neighbors facing challenges across Washington, Russell, Smyth, and Grayson Counties.

In this role, you’ll coordinate support requests on our platform, recruit and support volunteers, build relationships with community organizations, and help ensure timely help reaches those who need it. This full-time position is remote with regional travel (Washington, Russell, Smyth, Grayson) and pays $55,000–$61,000 per year with paid time off.

Grayson County is seeking assistance for a community member who is in need of a replacement washer. This gentleman, who is disabled, relies on functioning household appliances to maintain his independence and well-being. His washer recently stopped working, and obtaining a replacement is critical to managing his daily needs and ensuring his living environment remains organized and hygienic.

By helping fulfill this request, you have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in his day-to-day life. We are reaching out for either the donation of a gently used washer or financial contributions towards purchasing one.
