Join TAP Fathers First program and learn how to be a better father, partner, and community member!

TAP Fathers First program provides fathers with the opportunity for classroom and group interaction to address family issues such as healthy relationships, communication skills and parenting responsibilities. Additionally, an employment specialist is available to assist unemployed or underemployed parents with job seeking and job keeping skills to address child support payments as well as caring for family needs.

The Fathers First program is a component of Total Action for Progress (TAP). The program serves residents of Alleghany County, Bath County, Botetourt County, Craig County, Roanoke County, and Rockbridge County, and the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, Lexington, Roanoke, and Salem.

There is no cost for this program.

The Fathers First program is located at the Roanoke Higher Education Center at 108 N. Jefferson Street, Suite 503 in Downtown Roanoke, Virginia.
