🚍 The best way to learn how to navigate the bus system is to Try Transit Together! ✨
We had a wonderful Try Transit outing with the staff from the Roanoke Department of Social Services Self-Sufficiency program. We traveled on Valley Metro - Roanoke routes 21/22, starting from their location on Williamson Rd to the Third St Transit Center and back.
🙌🏽Gaining hands-on experience in planning routes and riding the bus equips staff members with the knowledge and confidence they need to assist clients seeking transportation. The Self-Sufficiency program offers vital services such as job readiness and placement assistance, work experience opportunities, and job skills training.
Empowering individuals through education is a crucial first step in helping people reach their destinations— whether for work, school, or essential errands. RIDE Solutions takes pride in delivering valuable education on transportation options through community partnerships.
Whether you represent an employee group or an organization that supports individuals needing transportation, RIDE Solutions can create a customized bus trip tailored to your needs.
