e. She expresses her artistry through custom designed patterns, hand detailing, distressing, collage or some other fabric manipulation. Creations provide services that range from fashion advice, custom design, custom fit, alterations, and fashion event planning/hosting. In 2014 she was selected as one of ten finalists for the Detroit Institute of Arts/ Detroit Garment Guild Group Samurai: “Beyond the Armor” Design Challenge. After the contest she was featured the August issue of Styleline as one of ten “Designers to Watch” in the tri-county area.

Cheryl has won 5 awards from the American Sewing Expo (2009-2012) Passion for Fashion contest (similar to Project Runway). This is an 18-hour challenge consisting of 12 designers from around the nation, chosen to compete by the ASE jury. 2012 First Place Winner (Bug inspiration) 2011 Second Place Award (Movie Poster Inspiration). 2010 View’s Choice Award (American Car Inspiration). 2009 Third Place & the Viewer's Choice Award (Spy gadget Inspiration)

2013 1st Place Mane Grand Gala- Partnering with Hair Palladian Salon- Allen Park, raised money for Children with Hair Loss.

2012 Yspi Style Challenge- First Place Winner (Second Place 2013).

2012 American & Efird Out of the Box Challenge 5th Place. 2011 Show Your Support Contest received a Second place award for her Cheetah Girls Design. 2010 Show Your Support Contest received an Honorable Mention for her Timeless Memories Design.
