“Let’s focus on solutions.”
“How can we move forward productively?”

The Art of Giving Feedback Without Conflict

Feedback should build people up, not break them down. If your words create defensiveness instead of growth, it’s time to rethink your approach.

Angie's Tip: Use the SBI Method when giving feedback:

Situation – “Yesterday in the meeting…”
Behavior – “You interrupted multiple times…”
Impact – “It made the team feel unheard.”

Instead of preparing your response while someone is talking, try being fully present. Leaders who listen build trust, resolve conflicts, and make better decisions.

“Tell me more about that.”
