We are spotlighting our seniors for their contributions to the ARC and at UCR! 🎓

Meet Aarushi Sahu who’s an Early Assist Peer Educator! Aarushi is getting her B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Medical and Health Humanities Studies. 🧠

Aarushi’s advice is “take advantage of every opportunity UCR offers and not be afraid to ask for help. Some of the best experiences come from stepping outside your comfort zone and getting involved.” After graduation, she plans to continue working as a medical scribe, participating in research, volunteer, travel to Panama for a medical brigade, and apply to medical school. Aarushi’s favorite part about working at the ARC is being able to support students and connect with such a welcoming team. She expresses, “It was meaningful to be part of a space that helps students feel supported and successful.”🌟

Congratulations Aarushi and thank you for your contributions to the ARC! 🥳

We are spotlighting our seniors for their contributions to the ARC and at UCR! 🎓

Meet Kushneet Dhami who’s an Academic Intervention Peer Mentor! Kushneet is getting her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Medical and Health Humanities Studies. 🧪

Kushneet’s advice is “become the biggest self advocate you can for yourself. I think the improvement in my social life, academic career, and overall student life vastly improved when I became more confident in my abilities and advocated for myself. Don’t be afraid to reach out, gain mentorship, and get involved in opportunities and experiences you’ve always wanted to seek out!” After graduation, Kushneet plans on applying to medical school, gaining further medical experiences, and traveling/living life with her friends and family. Kushneet’s favorite part about working at the ARC is seeing the drastic improvement students experience during their final 1:1 peer mentor meetings. She expresses, “I think it goes to show how strong human connection can be inspiring to one another to reach our full potential.” 🌟

Congratulations Kushneet and thank you for your contributions to the ARC! 🥳
