Appreciated, but highly discouraged(by me, I don’t know about how other riders feel about this). BUT I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…there is absolutely NO NEED to drive onto the shoulder to let a motorcyclist lane-split! We have plenty of room to lane-split safely if you just hug the shoulder or hug the left side of the lane. I don’t want to have anyone hit debris, pop a tire, or cause damage to their vehicle just to let me lane-split. Again, HUGE THANK YOU, but 100% NOT necessary. Thanks for coming to my TED-talk!
