SAND BOX SPECIAL.
When I was 15-16 my dad and I went to look at a VW bug from a guy I worked with that just “rebuilt the motor”
We walked away from it and I couldn’t believe my dad said ‘hell no!’
On the drive home my dad explained to me that that guy was either full of s**t or a half ass mechanic. He went on to explain the red flags of uncleaned surfaces, dirty gaskets, poorly applied paint and little to no trace that any of the fasteners had been turned and those that were- needed replacing for the next guy.
My friend Thom once said, you never know which way something will be facing the first time someone sees it.
I think about those two things a lot whenever I’m working on something.
She’s crusty on the outside but there’s plenty of evidence to show how much care went into the inside.
Anyway, happy Saturday.

Thank you Eric for always throwing fun projects my way.
Stoked to have a piece next to Crawfords paint 💘

Voting for People’s Champ starts today! Here’s a throw back to the time I tried to be crowned the champ.
Head over to and do your part.

650RR Pre Unit.
Crusty survivor show bike motor that’s all new on the inside. Need to make one more run to JRC to tie up the last of the timing cover and she’s ready to fire.
I’ve found myself right where I left off a year ago. Moving sucked more than I anticipated but I’m happy to see that it’s finally in the rear view mirror.
Not taking on any new work right now, I just need to see the end of the tunnel before thinking about anything else.
Thank you all for your patience and support. And thank you for all the tips!!

LIFES GOOD.
Thanks Jesse for spending all your money on film so I can have memories

Please do not try to argue with me because I will not listen ❤️
These are live. Get em before Friday and USPS says they’ll be there before Christmas.

If you missed it, you blew it.
