This is an active branch of the United Methodist Church offering hope and good works to Riverside. We have meeting rooms for community groups. Sunday mornings.

We have a hybrid worship service with both traditional and contemporary music; activities for children, including a Chime Choir and Sunday school, and we have a youth group with regular meetings. There is an award winning preschool right on our property, a large sanctuary and Fellowship Hall for church activities, weddings and memorial services. Please come visit us in person or online via Facebook Live at 10 a.m.

This Sunday is Music Appreciation Day! Plus, we welcome Rev Dr Kate Hunter back to our pulpit. She will tell us more about the worms and wonder of her previous years serving in Bishop, Calif. We will enjoy lots of music starting at 10 am in the sanctuary. You are invited. The table is set!

Commissioning and Ordination Service - 2026 Cal-Pac Annual Conference Session 06/23/2026

The church ordains new ministers at Annual Conference and there is always great preaching and music. This is a way to get a sense for what it was like last week. What containers do we have in our house that we can fill with oil and offer the world?

Bill Ashworth was a devoted family man who excelled in baseball and then business. He raised four sons, led committees at church, sent regular gifts of peanut brittle to the church staff. When his wife Lynn had cancer, he turned his attention to her health and safety and made sure all medical issues were handled. Thanks to the reception committee and those involved in the service. Deep condolences to the family. Jeff says some of his dad’s last words to him included “Take care of yourself.”
