Growing up, taking care of my hair was a sore spot. It seemed difficult, I didn’t like it, and when I did get it styled, it took so long I swore I wouldn’t do it again. It wasn’t until my mid-twenties after perms ruined my hair that I learned to appreciate my natural hair in all of it’s glory.
This wall art series is an affirmation of that natural hair appreciation, for all of the little black and brown girls who might feel like their hair is anything less than magic. Now available via the link in my bio.
