Cleaning out the interior of RTD 2847. 1989 flexible metro. This bus was parked right next to where I was doing the work on 111, 5248 and 6342 so it ended up getting filled up with paint supplies and body work supplies and everything else. Hopefully I can have it cleaned out by Friday.

It's hard to believe that these paint cans represent almost $15,000 in paint for 111, 5248 and 6342.

I haven't been getting a lot of heavy mechanical work done while I am waiting for this hip replacement surgery. The pain is just too much to deal with. But I can sit down and sort out nuts and bolts and screws and small parts. I am sorting this stuff out and then putting them in the parts bins or the nut and screw bins. It's something I've been meaning to do for years but never got around to it. But it's easy work I can do sitting down. And it will get the interior of 2847 cleared out

Almost finished installing the rear seat frames in DC Transit 6342 today. I just have one more to finish. At least this bus will be complete now. When business picks up I will get back to painting the seat frames and reupholstery. But until then. This is the best it's going to get

I finished installing the HVAC ducts and other panels on DC Transit 6342 this morning. I was going to get the last of the seat frames installed but I'm just not feeling it. The pain kind of overrides wanting to get anything done. But at least it's one step closer. Hopefully tomorrow I will have the energy to install the seat frames

I finished the new flooring on 6342 this morning. All of the flooring is now complete. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the trim pieces in and the duct for the HVAC system. Once that's finished I can get the rest of the seat frames back in.

I finished the replacement flooring on DC Transit 6342 behind the curbside rear wheel this morning. Everything is sealed up and bolted down

Installed the replacement wood flooring on the curbside rear of 6342 this morning. Filled in the cracks and uneven areas with wood putty.
