Personal reflection on from
“Going into Unknown Perception 2025 I didn’t really know what to expect. It’s not like a warehouse where you’re in and out for a few hours, this just keeps going.
At one point I was posted up in a lawn chair, still locked into the music. That’s when it clicked.
You actually get time with people. Not quick conversations, not passing by, real time. By the end of it you’re leaving with actual connections, not just faces you saw for a night.
You can go sleep for a bit, wake up, walk back over and music is already going again. Quick reset, then right back into it.
And I’ll be honest, I’m not a camping person at all. But out there it didn’t even matter.
Not to mention world class techno and the extended sets I got to witness. If you’re into long form techno, this is the place to be.”

Åre:gone is part of a new wave of artists shaping techno beyond borders.
Originally from Havana, Cuba, he spent years helping build a scene where there was barely one, co-founding collectives like Rusty Nails and Vórtice, and pushing underground techno into new territory within his country. His sound carries that foundation, groovy, driving, and rooted in a raw, organic feel that stands out without trying too hard.
In recent years, his work has reached well beyond Cuba. Releases on labels like ANAØH have landed on top charts, with support from artists like Ben Sims and DVS1, making their way into some of the most respected rooms in the world.
Now based in the U.S., Åre:gone brings that same energy into every set: long-form, intentional, and built for late-night floors.

Aztekan is the driving force behind Kenopsic and a key figure in the Inland Empire’s underground techno movement.
His sets lean into long-form, hypnotic pacing, built on tension, groove, and control rather than quick impact. Built for late hours and focused floors, where the energy builds gradually and locks you in.
He’s shared lineups with artists such as Pfirter, Mark Broom, Drumcell, Developer, 999999999, and Oscar Mulero, while also working closely with crews like 6AM/WORK, RE/FORM, and OBSERVE; steadily building his presence beyond the local circuit.
Whether opening, closing, or holding peak time, Aztekan approaches every set with intention always serving the room first.

Sharp Objects is the collaborative project of Inland Empire–based artists and , also known as the force behind .label , merging two distinct approaches into a shared, hypnotic language.
Rooted in texture, groove, and audiovisual influence, the project pulls from both artists’ backgrounds, blending murky, driving rhythms with immersive, detail-focused sound design.
With a focus on restraint, tension, and slow-burn progression, Sharp Objects builds momentum through subtle shifts rather than excess, creating sets that stay locked in and dialed from start to finish.

yNOTi has been carving her own lane in LA’s underground, one that doesn’t follow expectation.
Her sound is dark and driving, shaped by classical training and a multicultural background, blending raw intensity with groove and something atmospheric beneath it. Controlled, precise, and built for proper momentum.
Her debut EP On Vantablack Wings on Black Techno Matters introduced that “dark, angelic” balance, something that carries into her sets without losing pressure.
Sharing stages with names like Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, SPFDJ, and Truncate, she’s built a presence that’s both refined and uncompromising.
