At First Community Capital, this is why we do what we do.
We believe small businesses don’t just deserve a chance to start—they deserve the opportunity to thrive, grow, and scale.
Just a few months ago, Luxuriant Coffee, located in the heart of Downtown Riverside at Market & Fourteenth Street, was on the verge of not being able to open. A woman immigrant entrepreneur with vision, passion, and determination—but without access to the capital needed to get across the finish line.
At the last moment, First Community Capital stepped in with the working capital support to help make opening possible.
Today?
This place is thriving. Filled with loyal, enthusiastic customers and a growing community. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s an economic engine—creating jobs, bringing people together, and showing what’s possible when we invest in people.
This is the power of access to capital.
This is community development in action.
If you haven’t checked it out yet—stop by Luxuriant Coffee, grab a cup, and support a business that almost didn’t get the chance to open.
