This weekend we are going to tackle a tough topic...God has a lot to say about "Gluttony" and the truth about how we are overindulgent in our behaviors here in America is something we must look at to ensure we are living a life that is bearing the fruit of self-control! Read Philippians 3:15-21. Be prayerful knowing God's intent is to speak to us through His Word. He wants you to know how valuable you are to Him. Let's gather together this Sunday and encourage one another on the journey.

Have you ever felt stagnant in you faith? Maybe you have said to yourself, "I'm just not feeling it!"? Take a moment this week to read Philippians 2 in preparation for our gathering. God has a great encouragement for you in this passage and He wants you to know that all you have to do to overcome this type of moment is to "Get to Work"!

If we want to experience all the great moments God has for us as His family then we need to understand that we must hold fast to the Word of life - Jesus!

Each one of us is distinct, and a true recipient of His glory, but we only light up our own areas influence, where as together our lights shine much brighter. Using the illustration that Christ used to describe us as the "City on a Hill", paints a clear and meaningful picture of the need for unity. Together, with Christ's light in each of us, we then will become light bearers in a sin darkened world and can then become that "City on a hill" leading others to Christ and out of the darkness.
