I had so much fun photographing the T family; it's been a while since I've done a family with a baby. One of my biggest tips for families is to NOT treat family pictures like family pictures. Just relax, act like you're going on a nice walk, and let me worry about getting your kids to smile and/or behave. (Seriously, I mean it!) Family pictures do not have to be stressful.

I love it when I get to see the same families again and watch how their family has grown! (Or grown up.) Welcome back D Family!

Playing catch-up this week wish posting some fall sessions from this year, starting with the F family!

Four handsome brothers!!! This family is near and dear to me and I can't wait to share the rest of their session!

One thing I am super grateful for is our amazing next door neighbors. We had a pretty rough neighbor situation for the first few years we were here, and then a year of the house being vacant. I prayed frequently we would get awesome neighbors, that someone would buy the house that we could be friends with, who loved our kids and dogs, and maybe even a babysitter. 😉 Well, God answered my prayers 110%! So thankful for the S family! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Another beautiful evening down by the river, with another gorgeous family!

One of my favorite things about living in Albuquerque is watching the Sandia Mountains turn pink and then purple at dusk. It never gets old!

We had to get a little creative hiding a freshly put on full-arm cast on one of the kiddos, but I think we pulled it off! It was so fun to try a new location and catch up with some old friends in the M Family.

I’m pretty sure kids these days don’t have awkward phases. It’s not fair, haha. Pictures from my middle school years make me cringe and laugh until I cry. 😬😂

But this beauty from my family session last night proves my point. Just gorgeous and sweet and lovely!

I can’t help but post this preview I sent to this Momma today! We were waiting for Dad to get to the location from work and captured this gorgeous lighting (and gorgeous mom and kiddos). Can’t wait to dive into editing this family’s session! (Click photo for full image.)
