Happy Hour was filled with smiles, laughter, and great music today! We had a wonderful time enjoying the afternoon with Teresa Locke and David Sandoval. Their talent and energy created a fun and uplifting atmosphere that everyone truly enjoyed.

Our residents were so happy, singing along, visiting with friends, and making special memories together. Moments like these remind us how important music, friendship, and community are in bringing joy to our days.

A big thank you to Teresa and David for sharing their time and talents with us. We are already looking forward to the next Happy Hour!

Our Burger Contest was a huge success!

Everyone absolutely loved it and is already asking when we can do it again! A big shoutout to our talented participants: Rae, Heems, Danny, and Patrick, who each created their own unique hamburgers. Every single burger was delicious, making it a very tough competition! But as with every contest, there can only be one winner: CONGRATULATIONS TO PATRICK! Patrick's burger impressed the judges and earned the top spot. Well done!

Thank you to everyone who participated, tasted, cheered, and helped make this event such a fun and memorable experience. We can't wait for the next Burger Contest!

Our residents had a wonderful time playing co****le today! There was lots of laughter, friendly competition, and great teamwork. Everyone enjoyed spending time together, cheering each other on, and making fun memories. It was a fantastic activity that brought smiles to everyone's faces and showed that fun has no age limit!

What a wonderful day at The Rio Grande Retirement! Our Vendors Event was a great success, bringing together amazing vendors, residents, staff, and visitors for a fun and engaging experience. A big thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this event so special. We enjoyed connecting with the community, sharing valuable resources, and creating meaningful relationships. We look forward to many more successful events in the future!

Yesterday, we hosted our Country BBQ Event, and it was a tremendous success! We were delighted to welcome many guests from outside our community, who joined our residents for an afternoon filled with delicious BBQ dishes expertly prepared by our talented Chef Heather. The food was a huge hit, and everyone enjoyed the warm, festive atmosphere. We received countless compliments on the event, the beautiful decorations, and, most importantly, the outstanding hospitality goes to Michelle, Marketing Director at The Rio Grande, for providing exceptional tours and making every guest feel welcome and valued. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a memorable experience. We look forward to creating many more wonderful moments together!

Our Lunch Bunch gathered at Sadie’s today, and we had such a wonderful time! The food was great, but the best part was enjoying each other’s company sharing stories, lots of laughter, and great conversation. Days like these remind us how special good friends and good times can be.

Spending time in our creative corner was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It gave everyone a chance to unwind, express their imagination, and enjoy being creative at the same time. We did some painting activities, and everyone enjoyed them so much! It was wonderful to see so much happiness, creativity, and confidence come out through the artwork. Moments like these make learning and creating together even more special.

We had such a wonderful visit to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science! The museum was fascinating, beautifully organized, and full of incredible exhibits that kept us engaged the entire time. We especially enjoyed learning about dinosaurs, space, and the natural history of New Mexico. The experience was both fun and educational, and we truly appreciated the friendly atmosphere and well-presented displays. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Afterward, we went to Church Street Cafe, where we enjoyed a very delicious meal. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavor, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. The service was excellent, and it was the perfect way to end such a memorable day in Albuquerque. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful karaoke day today! Our residents truly enjoyed singing, dancing, and spending joyful moments together. Seeing everyone smiling, laughing, and joining the fun made the day extra special. The good music, happy vibes, and delicious mocktails made it a perfect celebration for everyone!

We had such a wonderful Cinco de Mayo celebration! The amazing Trio Latino filled the room with beautiful music, and our residents truly enjoyed every moment — singing, smiling, and dancing together. Our servers also joined the celebration wearing colorful Mexican hats, and they looked fantastic! Everyone had so much fun, and it was a joyful day full of laughter, music, and great memories for all.
