Every Monday at 10:00 AM, our wonderful resident Ivan Pfeifer is here to help our residents with all their technology needs! Whether it’s a phone, computer, tablet, or any other device, Ivan has the patience, kindness, and dedication to teach each resident step by step and make technology a little less intimidating. We are so grateful to have someone who is always willing to share his knowledge and take the time to help others. Thank you, Ivan, for making a difference in our community!

Today we enjoyed a wonderful Lunch Bunch at Garduño’s! It was a lovely afternoon filled with delicious food, great conversations, laughter, and wonderful memories shared with our residents.

On Tuesday August 4th, we had a visit from the Bellas Stepsisters! They came to The Rio Grande to show us a line dance and the residents enjoyed it so much!

Today we had our Green Chili Contest with Isabella and Tilly, residents in our Rio Grande, they both cooked so good but unfortunately one of them had to be the winner! Isabella with her Green Chili Stew and Tilly with her Pico de Gallo Green Chili, both dishes were so good and it was hard for the jury to decide which one was the winner, but they decided that Isabella had the best Green Chili stew and the Chef is going to have it on the Alternative dish next week, all the residents enjoyed so much and had so much fun telling a lot of different stories about how they made their chili and tasting and hearing their opinion was so much nice too! and to end everything our lovely Chef Heather brought us quesadillas, they were delicious! Thank you everyone for supporting us with this contest! We are looking for more contests!

Today at Grandma's Kitchen was filled with laughter, teamwork, and delicious traditions! Heather our lovely Chef and Rhonda, made a homemade Green Chile Tamales with our amazing residents. From mixing the ingredients to wrapping each tamale with care, everyone had a wonderful time sharing stories, smiles, and creating something special together. The tamales turned out absolutely delicious, and even more importantly, the joy on everyone's faces made the day unforgettable. Thank you to Heather and Rhonda for making this such a fun and memorable activity.

Today we enjoyed a wonderful Mocktails event with Jessy Montoya! Jessy, the niece of one of our beloved residents, graciously shared her incredible talent with us and surprised everyone with a beautiful performance. Her music brought so much joy, smiles, and heartfelt moments to our day. We are so grateful for her generosity and for helping create such a special experience for our residents. Thank you, Jessy, for making today truly unforgettable!

Yesterday we hosted our Red, White & Blue Brunch, and it was a huge success! We were so happy to see so many wonderful people join us to enjoy a delicious brunch, great conversation, and a fun time together. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the event so special. Your support and smiling faces made the day unforgettable! A special thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers for all their hard work in preparing such wonderful food and creating a welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to see everyone at our next event!

We wrapped up our Gymkhana competitions on Thursday with a fun game of Ring Toss! It was the perfect way to end an exciting week filled with laughter, friendly competition, and wonderful memories. Everyone enjoyed taking their turn, cheering each other on, and celebrating each success along the way. A big thank you to all of our participants for bringing such enthusiasm and great sportsmanship to every event. We are so proud of everyone who joined in and made this year's Gymkhana competitions such a success. We can't wait to do it all again!

On Wednesday, the fun continued with our Gymkhana competition—this time it was all about Co****le! There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and great sportsmanship as everyone gave it their best shot. It's wonderful to see everyone coming together, cheering each other on, and making lasting memories.
