The 64th Civil Support Team led a comprehensive decontamination training for the Soldiers of the Soldiers of the 615th motor transportation battalion. The training focused on the setup and maintenance of both technical and emergency decontamination lines. Soldiers were able to demonstrate their skills and actively engage in practicing decontamination procedures and enhancing their readiness for modern real-world scenarios.

Last week, the 64th CST decontamination team provided training for employees of the NM State Laboratories.

The training included both emergency and technical decontamination procedures. Participants had the opportunity to learn and practice these procedures hands-on.

The 64th Civil Support Team hosted an Advanced Clandestine Lab course, conducted by instructors from NES, Inc. Participants included members of the 64th CST, 81st CST, NM Counter Drug, and Sandoval County Fire Rescue.

This comprehensive course covered the history, production methods, toxicology, sampling, and recommended PPE for managing a scene and handling evidence. It also identified red-flag indicators of potential explosives and toxic laboratories, which is crucial for first responders assessing a site.

The objective was to provide in-depth knowledge of synthesis processes, hazards, required PPE, and evidence collection procedures for trending clandestine operations.
