Anyone who filed an extension for their 2020 taxes, start working on getting your paperwork together. We will start preparing extended taxes on August 2nd!

The IRS has extended the 1040 Personal Income Tax Return deadline until May 17th. There is no extension to do for that extra time it is automatic. Not all states are extending along with the IRS. In fact most states are keeping the April 15th deadline. Also LA, OK & TX who were affected by the February winter storms are automatically extended June 15th for both federal & state.

The IRS May 17th extension automatically includes:
~ filing your 2020 personal federal tax return
~ paying your 2020 federal tax liability
~ making 1st Qtr 2022 federal estimated tax payments
~ making 2020 IRA & SEP contributions

Our office will be accepting current client returns until April 5th. Any returns received after midnight on the 5th will be extended until October 15th. We are not excepting any new clients at this time, but will be glad to add you to our new client waiting list.

We are drumming up for the busy 2020 Tax Season!

Due to COVID we will not be accepting clients in the office. For your convenience you can use our secure drop box and complimentary envelopes are also available. If your information is too large to fit in the drop box, please call the office when you are leaving and let us know you have left your information outside the office door and we will get it promptly.

We will start entering personal tax returns on Monday February 1st. If you drop off your paperwork before then you will be logged in and placed in the tax prep box in the order it was received.

We appreciate all of your referrals and the confidence that you have in our full service accounting practice. We are currently not taking on any new tax clients, but we will be glad to add any referrals to our growing waiting list. We do however have a few Monthly/Quarterly Bookkeeping spots available.
