Just A few pictures from the ark encounter

We’ve made it to Kentucky, ate at Culver’s and they are having fun in the pool. Tomorrow the ark encounter.

Never thought about this but it makes you think about the life you living.

Each winter Dakota Sonshine collects coats for our Winter Warm Up project. This program has been a part of our ministry since 2000, making it our longest running at 21 years! For the past 3 winters the local Hutterite colonies have donated hundreds of coats and blankets making it nearly unnecessary to collect coats elsewhere. We collect the coats from the colonies then give them to the tribal food pantry for distribution to be sure that those in greatest need are served first. Below is Don Lykins pictured with just a few of the coats and blankets remaining. It's our prayer that everyone who needs a coat or blanket is reached and that they are surrounded by the warm love of Christ!

Many people think of Dakota Sonshine as a summer camp for children but we also have weekly church services year round in our chapel. Two weeks ago we were privileged to welcome a new believer into the kingdom of God! This Sunday they participated in their first communion! Our number one core value is to be gospel centered which means we share and live out the good news of Jesus Christ daily.
