Peak Kinetic Performance
Peak Kinetic Performance is a Chattanooga based strength and conditioning facility.
When Coach has the glasses on you know it’s going to be a good day! 😂
In-service with our summer interns today discussing how to develop energy systems for sports and positions.
One of the biggest mistakes in conditioning is relying on mindless fitness that leaves athletes living in “no man’s land”, training that’s too hard to recover from but not specific enough to create meaningful adaptations.
To build conditioning that actually transfers to performance, we must first understand the demands of the sport and position. From there, we can strategically train either below the demands to build the aerobic foundation needed for recovery, or above the demands to improve high-intensity work capacity and power output. We usually don’t live in the middle unless the sport requires it.
The goal isn’t to get tired. The goal is to create adaptations that help athletes perform better when it matters most. Train with intent. Train for the demands of the game. ⚡️

It was a lot of fun watching our guys compete in the Stump Martin TN/GA All-Star Game. We’re incredibly blessed to have worked with 25 players across both rosters.
These young men are a testament to what can happen when you put a plan in place, stay committed, and execute with high intent day after day.
We’re especially proud of our seniors. It’s been an honor to be a small part of their journey, and while we’ll miss having them around the facility, we’re excited to watch them take the next step as they head off to college.
S/O Sam Dixon for taking home the MVP with a bomb and 4RBIs ⚡️
All of these metrics are simply expressions of a highly developed nervous system. They are markers to work toward, not absolute requirements.
There will always be athletes who doesn’t fit the perfect profile and still produce 100+ mph exit velocities. That’s the nature of sports performance.
As hitters, the stronger, faster, and more coordinated you become, the greater your potential to produce elite bat speed and exit velocity. The metrics are simply signs that you’re moving in the right direction.
If you chase just strength, you may lose rotational capabilities to sequence. If you just chase rotational capabilities, you might not have the engine to produce the bat speed needed. At Peak, we train both. ⚡️
This girl is special.
She shows up multiple days a week, most the time one of the few girls in the class. That doesn’t phase her. She takes pride in beating most the boys her age in competition. She is a prime example of what happens when you fall in love with the process and get stronger, faster, and more powerful.
She’s proof that when you commit to the process and refuse to back down from competition, special things happen. The future is bright.

Always a great day when the gospel is being shared. 🙏

A special group is coming up through Peak right now. Talent matters, but what stands out most is their competitiveness, work ethic, and how much they elevate one another. That’s the kind of environment that creates real development. The future is bright for these athletes. 🔥
