Meet lucky he was a time sensitive and very emotional pick up but we are glad we were able to help in this time of need.

Meet Shadow He is a bearded dragon who DESPERATELY needs your help. His previous owner got him around 2 months ago from someone else however she was unable to help him and in turn surrendered him to us. Shadow appears to have a fungal infection which has covered his whole face as well as some spots on his legs and belly. It is eating away at his skin underneath and he desperately needs a vet visit. If you look at the photos both of his nostrils are covered up by fungus leaving him only able to breathe through his mouth. His appetite has decreased but he is still so full of energy meaning he is a fighter. Anything you can donate will help and if you cannot donate PLEASE just give this post a SHARE! Around the 1st of August i was tagged in a post about a snake roaming around a neighborhood in pooler flash forward to today i receive a call from someone saying they found a snake in their yard in the same neighborhood in pooler. This was definitely someone’s pet snake that either got out or was left behind. This snake make it through a HURRICAINE!! We don’t know how long he/she has been outside but it’s been atleast 3 weeks. It is on his way to me now and will get a good meal tonight.
What should we name it?

Edit to add: Poor baby was VERY hungry!

Skully is eating and moving and basking today. He got some syringe food and supplements yesterday and seems to have energy today

Meet Skully, he is a 1 year old bearded dragon and appears to have Metabolic Bone Disease in his back legs. He is only 37 grams which may be from improper calcium absorption. He will be getting some calcium enriched syringe feedings and tons of UVB. Be sure to follow for updates!

UPDATE on Camo
Camo is doing well, he still has no jaw improvement despite finishing his antibiotics however he is still gaining weight with syringe feeding and roaming all over his tank. Syringe feeding a chameleon is not an easy thing to do as their trachea is at the bottom of their mouth and not getting food into their trachea is very difficult.

Meet Mowgli he came to us with an upper respiratory infection and scar tissue over his eyes. These are photos of him at the vet, even after being poked at he still never even hissed again anyone or acted like he wanted to bite. Mowgli came to us with Evee the snake in a previous post as their owner was moving and couldn’t take them with him. Send good vibes to Mowgli for a speedy recovery. We are hoping with treatment his eyes will be better after his next shed if not he may never be able to see again.
