Townhall today by and with speakers Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon, Councilwoman Monica Taylor, , and Attorney Somers from the foundation of delaware county. I wish this event was better timed to serve the students and community that it is targeting. I hope if this is a time that works with your schedule even though I understand for many of you it is not. That you will join me this morning at the landsdowne YMCA.

Hi everyone! No this is not a turkey post or have anything to do with a stuffing recipe. But actually this is about coming together despite our differences so I guess we are still on par for the holidays. I want to talk about our community's students and the state of emergency that some of the schools in Delaware County are under. We all have seen the angry Facebook posts, the news reports from whyy to Delco daily times, to ABC. Our students are suffering, our school boards are struggling, and our parents are overwhelmed. I am hoping to put together an event page online to discuss how the Delaware county community can come together to advocate for the Delco students in need. If you are interested comment down below or private message me. And please share with your friends. Together we can truly make a difference in these students lives and by doing so we can change our community for the better. By helping one child at a time.
With love and justice.

I woke up this morning in a state of utter panic. Today is not a normal day. Today I woke up with the realization that I didn't have as many rights to my own body as I did yesterday morning. Today I realized that my future child won't know a world where it doesn't matter where they are born in America that they will have the same right to their own body as they did in every state. I have been fighting for women's rights since before I could vote. Long before RBG died. I have been warning people they are going to take the right to choose away from us. We have to do something. We should be in a state of panic. And no one was paying attention. They never believed this day could happen. But here we are. And I am back on the courthouse steps like I have done time and time again. Begging and pleading with my generation to wake the hell up. Get off of social media. And get your asses registered to vote and to the polls. Stop acting like you live in this world of privelege where you can afford to not register to vote. Where we can afford to allow this to continue to happen. I'm tired of having to explain to people why they should care about this issue. I am tired of having to share my sexual assault to convince people that abortions needs to be available for victims of sexual abuse like myself. I am tired of having to explain to people why it doesn't at the end of the day matter what you think about abortions. If you don't like it. Don't have it. So I am once again asking for my generation to wake up. Get up. Register to vote. Knock on doors. Do voter registration drives. Send mail in absentee ballots back home. Please please vote in November. What we do now will determine not just our rights, but the rights of our future kids, and grandkids. And when your future granddaughter asks you when this was happening what did you do? Do you wanna tell her you did everything you could do to save her rights or do you wanna tell her you were to busy snapchatting and instagramming to care? It's your choice I hope you choose wisely.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me and this campaign. Thank you to all the supporters throughout Delaware county who had given me advice, or just encouraging words throughout my campaign. It truly kept me going and I have learned so much throughout this journey. I would not have traded it for the world. Even though we did not win. We have made a statement. It has been my honor to be your candidate and to speak out against the wrongdoings in our school district to fight for better for our students and teachers and to be a voice for our community. This is not over. This is only the beginning.

Let freedom ring!
After the disappointment of the approval of the financial budget at the last school board meeting it is more important than ever to speak your mind at tonight’s Ridley school board meeting to let the school board hear your questions and concerns. I hope to see you tonight at 7:30pm at Ridley high school’s auditorium. Please if you are intending on speaking please come 15 to 20 minutes to make sure you have time to sign up for public comments. See you there!

As many of you may know this June was pride month. A month to celebrate the LGBTQ+ and to reflect on our rights and our losses. During pride month many of you may not know that I worked on getting a pride flag ceremony in Ridley township, Ridley park, and Eddystone. I was success in Eddystone and they had their first Eddystone Borough Pride Celebration this past Stonewall anniversary where I had the honor of speaking. Secondly this month I lended a hand to UDTJ. Upper Darby’s First Pride Festival where I volunteered throughout the day and I was again honored to say a few words towards the end of the day. Pictures below will show I was very enthusiastic to officially meet the honorable Malcolm Kenyatta at the festival. Pride month means so much to me being a openly Q***r woman, an ally to the LGBTQ+, and a formal Gay Straight Alliance officer at Ridley high school. I hope my running for office as the first openly Q***r woman to run will open many new doors for the high school to be taught LGBT education. So that one day our students will know the meaning behind June 28th Stonewall anniversary. Until then all we can continue to do is spread love.
