The summer intern crew has arrived! ☀️👏

We’re excited to welcome our 2026 Summer Interns to First South! This week, they met with company leaders, learned about the Farm Credit System, explored careers across our organization, participated in professional development workshops, and had the opportunity to visit Board Director Nolan Parker’s farm in Lake Providence, Louisiana!

Be on the lookout for them this summer as they visit branches, attend events, and gain hands-on experience serving agriculture and rural communities across Alabama, Mississippi, & Louisiana!

As the Presenting Sponsor of the Alabama 4-H Club Foundation Golf Tournament, we’re honored to help support the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year. Events like this help provide opportunities for young people across Alabama to learn, grow, and develop leadership skills that will serve them for years to come.

Former First South Chief Lending Officer Mike Pigg, who serves on the Foundation Board, helped kick off the day by welcoming participants before tee off!
