Ridgefield Neighbors On Watch Program!

Ridgefield Neighbors On Watch Wants You!

The Ridgefield Neighbors on Watch (NOW) group is a group of civic minded citizens who have an interest in public safety. NOW members assist the police on events and also spend time walking neighborhoods to keep and eye on things and ensure that suspicious activities are forwarded to the police. We are having an informational meeting (Virtual) on Tuesday, September 8th at 6:30 pm. It is at this meeting where we will break down what training is involved, the parameters of the program, and to answer any questions you might have.

If you would like to Zoom in with us, send your email address to Sandra Hoots at the Police Department and we’ll send you an invitation. Sandra’s phone number is (360) 887-3556 or email to [email protected]

Come see if this method of community service is right for you.

Cryptocurrency, S Corporations Make List Of New IRS Compliance Campaigns 07/10/2018

We saw three returns in 2017 that reported virtual currency transactions; based on this IRS emphasis, we suspect that we will see more in 2018.

Cryptocurrency, S Corporations Make List Of New IRS Compliance Campaigns The Large Business and International of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced five additional compliance campaigns. New tax form is indeed smaller, but filing is no simpler 06/27/2018

With all the questions we've received regarding tax changes for 2018, here is an article from MSN.

"Don't confuse creating a postcard with simplifying a tax filing, it's not the same thing at all," said Howard Gleckman, a senior fellow at the Tax Policy Center.

New tax form is indeed smaller, but filing is no simpler A draft copy of the new 1040 income tax form shows it's the size of a postcard, but it does not necessarily shrink the workload for many Americans filling out their taxes.
