We have a live training exercise today at 250 E. Scott Avenue in Woodland today between 930am and 300pm.
Hands-on firefighting training by controlled live fire burn benefits firefighters to help understand fire and its characteristics, prevent deadly situations from occurring and to fight fire with confidence and effectiveness.

Recently T21 met with students at Ridgefield Early Learning Center to show off the Truck and fire equipment. It is important for children not to fear a Firefighter in uniform during an emergency.

Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue responded to the 11000 Block of NE 244th Street just before 1330 for a reported stabbing / assault. One Female Patient with stab wounds was transported to the hospital by AMR. Crews on scene treated one male patient that unfortunately did not survive and was pronounced deceased on scene. One person is in custody by the CCSO. CCFR was assisted in patient care by Fire District 3 crews. 1 Engine, 1 Squad, 2 Medic/Ambulances responded with 2 chief officers and law enforcement to the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and people are asked to stay away from the area of NE 244th St, West of SR 503.
