CLOTA is pleased to announce its cast list for its upcoming production of William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, directed by Olivia Holm.

Last day to audition for Romeo + Juliet! We'll see you there!

DON'T FORGET!

Auditions will be held Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th from 4pm to 7pm at CLOTA Center Stage (1425 N. Inyo St.). The show calls for 21 roles. Auditions will be divided into two parts, (1) Dance Call (4 pm to 5 pm) for the roles of Rosaline, Tybalt, and Mercutio. The dance call is not required for these roles. Dancers will learn a section of choreography. (2) Actor Readings (5 pm to 7 pm) will include readings of selected passages from Shakespeare’s script. Actors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the audition selections which can be found here:

No theatrical experience is necessary, and all levels of performers are welcome. The show has mature themes and is recommended for ages 16 and up. Minors will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at ALL rehearsals. Rehearsals will be scheduled based on actor availability.

Performances are September 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 at 7:30 pm with a 2 pm matinee on Sunday, September 21.

CLOTA Director, Olivia Holm, is taking a dark twist to a tragic classic, setting the show in a bold, post apocalyptic setting and focusing on gritty obsessional love. It's Matinee Sunday! Doors open at 1:30 pm for our matinee showing of Dear Brutus. Last night was yet another wonderful show with another wonderful audience! Thank you to all who came and who supported us on our opening weekend!
