Linda got one of my business cards from a past client at the community yard sale and called me about selling a mobile home that had been in her family since the early 1970s.

She was only in Ridgecrest to settle her brother’s estate and wanted to get back home before another summer in the desert. The catch? The home was built before 1978, wasn’t on a permanent foundation, and she wanted it sold completely AS-IS.

We listed at $100,000, my phone started ringing off the hook, and we accepted a full price offer within a week. No repairs, no moving, mission accomplished.

Congratulations, Linda! Your sense of humor, quick wit, and ability to tell it like it is made every conversation a highlight of my day. I can only hope I’m half as funny and sharp as you are when I grow up.

Being born and raised in Ridgecrest, paired with the ability to talk to a brick wall, has turned out to be a pretty useful skillset in this business. If I don’t know the answer, I know a person who does. Need a recommendation? I’ve got you. Need a miracle? Give me 15 minutes.

Everyone keeps saying the market is slowing down, but that honestly isn’t what the local MLS data is showing.
Don’t get me wrong, inventory is up from last year, and buyers have more leverage right now. But homes are still selling, and the market is holding steady with where it was last year. Call me a data nerd, but I trust the local stats over internet chatter every time. The market? Still swinging 🏡🔨

She was my freshman geography teacher, my basketball coach, and an educator I will never forget.

She kept her home even cleaner than her classroom, so spotless even the home inspector made a comment! Of the 100+ homes I have sold, I have never received a home inspection more clear. 👏🏼 Now, she’s heading home to greener pastures and cooler weather in retirement.

This one started in Vegas with just a simple conversation between friends that were a little hungover that went something like:
“Your quality of life would improve so much. Maybe you should talk to Becca and see what’s out there.”

Rian text me on their way home, we had a meeting, came up with a game plan, got pre-approved, and scheduled some showings!
When we toured the first one, Josh said “It’s a 10” before I could even finish asking what he rated the house. Rian looked around and said, “I can’t give it a 10. It’s the first house I’ve ever seen.” A completely fair point. But less than 12 hours later, I got a text from soccer practice. “We talked about it, it’s a 10, and we want to write an offer.” Talk about a wild 48 hours.

Now, if this were Legally Blonde, Elle Woods would have walked into Chicago Title, pointed at Stacey, and closed this house in 30 days.

Instead, the IRS played the antagonist, solar fought for a leading role, Alex the lender worked miracles behind the scenes, and the underwriter had us all living on a prayer the night before closing.
Elle Woods would’ve yelled, “OBJECTION!”
Us? We went to La Fiesta and had margaritas.

Congratulations Rian and Josh, you guys have officially made it home. Enjoy two bathrooms, your new kitchen island, storage space, and all the opportunities a double lot is going to bring you!!
This transaction is all the proof we need that the Bend and Snap remains one of the most effective negotiation techniques in real estate. 🤪
