The FRBL, is a non-profit group established to support the Ridgecrest Branch Library. We buy furniture, equipment, supplies and books!
Our mission is to create a library experience which improves the quality of life of everyone in the region. The Friends of the Ridgecrest Branch Library (FRBL) is the charitable group for the Ridgecrest branch of the Kern County Library system. We raise funds and awareness of and for the library. We host an on-going used book sale at our book storage facility, Wednesdays 1 to 3pm. and two or more

Are you a Little Free Library custodian needing books to fill your LFL? Books & More has boxes of excess books (older, worn, etc). Come in and select a few or fill a bag for free.

We have Toy Story 5 tickets for sale at Books & More located at 1513 N. Norma. This is a one time showing, with all proceeds going to help support the Ridgecrest library. Tickets for the June 27th showing are only $5.00 each.
Purchase your tickets soon, before they are sold out! We are open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 until 2. If you can’t make it to the store, scan the QR code to buy online.
