Flashback Friday of some of the past 15 years of memories.

Fifteen years ago today, in 2011, a leap of faith turned into what is now Elstro Auto.

Matt made the decision to walk away from the security of a steady job as a dealership Master Technician with nothing but his talent, a vision, a signed lease, and the hope that we could build something of our own.

At the time, we had an 8-year-old daughter, a 2-year-old son, and one income—as Ashley had stepped away from her career in banking so we could focus on raising our family.

And truth be told, before opening day, the only person who really knew this was all happening…was Grandpa Jack.

It was just a few years after the 2008 recession. The timing wasn’t perfect. The risk wasn’t small.

But we chose to believe in ourselves and our talents anyway.

We bet on long days, late nights, and the belief that our experience, skill, and work ethic would turn that vision into something real.

And 15 years later, we’re still at it—because of every person who trusted us, supported us, and believed in what we were building. We have expanded to the Elstro Auto you now know today.

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s proof that when you take a chance, work hard, and believe in what you’re doing, something meaningful can grow from it.

We’re incredibly grateful—and proud to share this dream with you.
