I've been lucky to have visited South Asia many times in my travel. On one of my trip thru India, my wife and I popped over to Nepal and visted Swayambhunath Temple.

It's not lost on us the incredible energy we felt from everyone we met.

Firstborne’s debut Lucky is picking up steam after Girish crushed it on AGT. Pretty amazing - check him out if you haven’t. Hard to believe our random meet him years ago in India and now I get to make music with him. Truly “Lucky.”

What have you guys been listening to lately? I still absolutely love most anything heavy, but I’m starting to have a real issue with cookie cutter production with kick drums so blown out they eat the whole mix - where the hell are all the guitars? Of course there are bands with killer riffs and shredders - but seems less and less common. Just me?

I’m excited about the new Coroner and Leprous releases coming soon - what’s on your radar?

🚨 Big update time 🚨
It’s been a wild ride since the release of Firstborne’s new album Lucky on August 8. The response has been incredible – reviews, sales, and especially the messages from you all have been overwhelming. Huge thanks for listening, sharing, and keeping this music alive.
We dropped videos for “Wake Up” and most recently “Rescue Me” (both up on YouTube now), and the band is already talking about new music and touring plans. Couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.
In the meantime, I just put a very limited number of signed Lucky vinyl and CDs up on my store 👉 link in comments below. I also added a couple of new collector’s items I’ve been holding onto. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Hey fam,

Little update from my corner of the world.
Things have been a bit south of heaven, but nothing I’m not capable of dealing with.
I currently have the privilege of being present and capable to assist with several major health issues within my family. My father and my youngest brother (not the golfer) are dealing with life threatening issues and I’m grateful to be able to assist.
A plethora of other day to day things as a dad of 3 with much loved doggies ‘Halen’ and ‘Toto’ and my kitty ‘Kintsugi’ have kept me from keeping up as much as I’d like to.

I’m sure no one is actually waiting to hear from me, but I do know and appreciate the interest many of you have in what I’ve got going on.

Last night I (almost died) filmed my portion of the first single to batter your senses off the upcoming Firstborne album.

And it felt great.
It’s been way too long.
I’ve missed it.
I don’t really like looking at myself so I wasn’t all over the film crew to check it all out, but I got a thumbs up from the wife…shes not only my best friend, she’s wicked brutal honest and does not take ANY wooden nickels.
(Also ridiculously beautiful, but that is a different convo)

We are stoked to have had the opportunity to properly record for a month in Texas with who better than...
