Dr. Martin Luther King’s message that workers’ rights and human rights are intertwined is as evident as ever. Today, NALC joins all Americans in honoring Dr. King’s legacy, and recommits to the ongoing fight for civil and human rights, economic justice and dignified workplaces.

Contract Talk.

Out-of-schedule premium only applies when management notifies a full-time letter carrier of a temporary schedule change by Wednesday of the preceding service week. If management notifies a full-time letter carrier of a temporary schedule change after Wednesday of the preceding service week, full-time carriers are guaranteed pay within their regular work schedule.

Congratulations Brother Richard Xavier on your retirement! With over 30 years with the USPS, Brother Xavier was presented with his retirement plaque, NALC pin and a check by 1st Vice President Mary Abante in front of all his peers at the Brentwood installation. Branch 1111 wishes you a happy and joyful retirement!

For those who don't already know. The Officers of Branch 1111 kindly request that if you are aware of any of our member's upcoming retirement, please inform your shop steward(s) and/or your full time officer in advance of the date of his or her retirement or the last day at work.

Our Shop Stewards are also reminded to let your Branch officer or the Secretary Treasurer know in advance.

This Branch has a long history and strives on presenting our members with their retirement plaque, NALC pin and a retirement check.

If the retiring member does not want an office presentation, we will honor the member's wishes and we will ask the member if he or she would like to attend the monthly Branch meeting to be presented in front of the members or send it to their address of record.

However, if the Branch is not informed in advance, we can only ask the member either to attend the monthly Branch meeting to be presented in front of the members or send it to their address of record.
