The Dashing Dwarf Rabbitry

Today's spotlight belongs to CF's Gummy Bear. She is a beautiful Sable Marten doe who hitched a ride to us from Carpenter Farms. She is expecting a litter at the end of this month, also sired by Steven's Dip.

I wanted to begin by spotlighting the members of my little herd. First up is Steven's Dip. Dip comes to us from Rabbits of Westgate. He is a beautiful little broken siamese sable buck. He is definitely the socialite of the group with a personality as amazing as his markings. Dip also has the honor of being the sire of our very first litter.

Thanks for visiting the Dashing Dwarf page. I just wanted to share a little about how this little rabbitry came to be. I raised rabbits as a child and teenager, mostly meat rabbits for meat and pet sales. After many years of being out of the hobby, I decided I wanted just one pet rabbit. After researching breeds, I decided a Netherland Dwarf was the one for me. I quickly fell in love with the breed and 6 months later, here I am with my own little herd and have just welcomed my first home grown litter. I have learned much about this breed and their standard of perfection this year, but still have much much more to learn. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
