Fort Bend County Clerk Laura Richard was honored to attend today’s Juneteenth Remembrance and Observance Ceremony at the Historic Fort Bend County Courthouse. The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the significance of Juneteenth, celebrate freedom, and recognize the resilience and contributions of generations who helped shape our community.

A special thank you to Kendleton Mayor Veronica Melton Harris for her inspiring remarks and leadership during this meaningful observance. Events like these help preserve our shared history while bringing the community together in remembrance, reflection, and hope for the future.

⭐ The Fort Bend County Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce Records Express to be held in Fulshear! This event will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Fort Bend County Library – Fulshear Branch.

Records Express is the County Clerk’s mobile outreach program designed to “bring the office to you” by offering convenient, on-site access to vital records. During this event, community members will be able to request and receive birth certificates and other vital records without needing to travel to the main County Clerk locations.

Fort Bend County Clerk Laura Richard was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Galaxy All Abilities Park, hosted by Commissioner Andy Meyers on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

This remarkable new park represents Fort Bend County’s commitment to creating inclusive spaces where individuals and families of all abilities can play, connect, and thrive together. The Galaxy All Abilities Park provides accessible recreational opportunities designed to ensure that everyone in our community can enjoy a welcoming and engaging outdoor environment.
