The nursery is full, but our pantry is running low on supplies!
Please consider donating to Royces Rescue so we can continue to fill these tiny tummies. We are currently running low on Royal Canin Mother and Baby Cat Ultra Soft Mousse in Sauce Wet Cat Food and Royal Canin Mother and Baby Cat Dry Food. These foods provide for special nutritional needs of nursing and postpartum mother cats and their young kittens to help them thrive.

It has been a heavy year at Royce’s Rescue. We have taken on some complex medical cases that have stretched our team—and our veterinary fund—to the absolute limit. But today, we want to share a story that makes every single late night, stressful phone call, and mounting bill completely worth it.
When Archer first arrived, he was so profoundly sick that there were moments we truly feared we might lose him. No matter what he ate, it went straight through him, and he was wasting away right before our eyes.
It took months of specialized testing, endless vet visits, and trying different treatments to figure out what his body needed. But we didn’t give up on him—and neither did our incredible vet partners.
We here at Royce’s rescue are so pleased to announce that Archer is finally healthy, happy, and thriving! And best of all? He officially went home to his forever person this past Saturday! 🥹 He is going to make the most fantastic, loving lifelong companion.
Miracles like Archer's are beautiful, but they come with a heavy price tag. Our veterinary bills for these complex cases have reached significant numbers this year. On top of that, the everyday costs of running a rescue never stop.
We need our village to help us recoup these costs so we can keep saying "yes" to the cats who need us most.
Your donation today goes directly toward:
• Complex Medical Care: Funding life-saving diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries for cats like Archer.
• The Basics: Covering routine care like vital vaccines, medications, and spay/neuter surgeries for every cat that enters our doors.
No amount is too small. Whether it's $5 or $50, every single dollar ensures we can give the next sick kitty their second chance at a happy life.
How You Can Support Us:
• Visit our website to give: https://www.roycesrescue.org/donate
• Share this post! Even if you can't donate, hitting "share" helps us reach the person who can.
Thank you for standing by us, supporting our mission, and loving these cats as much as we do!

Meet Haley!
Job well done, sweet girl! Haley arrived at Royce’s Rescue as a young mama cat with five tiny kittens in tow. She dedicated herself entirely to raising them, and thanks to her incredible care, all five have grown up healthy, strong, and are currently waving goodbye as they head off to their forever homes.
With her motherly duties officially complete, Haley is finally ready to focus on herself.
Meet This Gentle Soul
• A Kitten at Heart: Haley is only 1 year old. She is basically still a kitten herself, despite having to take on so much responsibility so early in life.
• The Perfect Companion: True to her nature, Haley is incredibly calm, docile, sweet with a pretty brown tabby coat.
• A Total Chatterbox: She is also very vocal! Haley loves to chat with her humans and will happily chirp and meow to tell you all about her day.
She spent her first year of life surviving and taking care of her kittens. Now, she deserves a forever home where she can finally be the one who is pampered, and loved.
If you have a cozy spot on your sofa and a lot of love to give this pretty girl, she is ready to meet you!

• Please SHARE this post to help Haley find the fairytale ending she worked so hard to give her babies!

Meet Royal Velvet — “V” to everyone who knows and loves him.
V is a 5-year-old off-the-track rescue horse with the sweetest, goofiest personality. Since coming into our care, he has worked so hard in his training and has made incredible progress. He loves having a job, wants to please, and had even begun carrying younger riders with confidence and kindness.
A few months ago, everything changed.
V began showing signs of severe pain under saddle, and after months of veterinary visits, diagnostics, treatments, and specialist evaluations, we finally got answers. He has been diagnosed with:Kissing spine • Arthritis in his neck, including an area likely pinching a nerve • Inflammation in the tendon of his hock
Despite injections and treatments, V is still uncomfortable and in pain. His next step is likely advanced imaging and surgery — procedures that are extremely expensive, especially after the many medical costs already incurred.
We are doing everything we can to give this sweet boy the chance at a comfortable, happy future and hopefully a working career he can enjoy.
If you are able to donate, share, or simply help spread V’s story, it would mean the world to us. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring him closer to the care he needs.
You can donate by going to Royce's rescue donation page https://www.roycesrescue.org/donate where you'll find our Venmo QR code.

Thank you for loving V as much as we do. 🐴

DOUBLE THE BUFF, DOUBLE THE FLUFF!
Meet Carter and Cecil the dynamic duo currently ruling the roost at Royce’s Rescue. At just 10 weeks old, these gorgeous buff-colored (orange dilute) brothers are a matched set of pure, unadulterated kitten joy. Carter has more white on his face.
If you’ve been looking for a sign to add some serious happiness (and a little bit of mischief) to your home, this is it.
Why You Need This Duo in Your Life:
* From chasing their own tails to high-speed zoomies, Carter and Cecil are guaranteed to provide endless free entertainment.
* You can't have a bad day when two purring, cream-colored fluffballs decide your lap is the best place on earth.
* Got a loose shoelace? A random crinkle ball? They are on the case. They excel at "helping" you make the bed and investigating every nook and cranny.
* Meal time comes with a serenade. These boys will happily sing for their supper…breakfast, lunch, and treats too!

LONGEST RESIDENT ALERT: Meet Olive!
They say patience is a virtue, but Olive has been patient for long enough. At just 1 year old, this beautiful girl is officially Royce’s Rescue’s longest resident cat.
When Olive first arrived, she was strictly a "look, but don't touch" kind of girl. She was terrified. But thanks to the incredible patience of our cat room workers, Olive has undergone a total transformation. Today? She is a purring, rubbing, total lovebug with the people she trusts. She loves Churu, wand toys, and butt scratches.
Olive is excellent with other cats! If you already have a feline friend at home looking for a sibling, Olive would make a wonderful, peaceful addition to the pack.
The Catch? Olive is incredibly shy around strangers. When potential adopters come to meet-and-greet events, Olive does what any relatable introvert does—she hides. Because of this, she keeps getting overlooked.
We need a gambler!!
We are looking for someone willing to take a chance on the frightened cat they meet on day one, knowing they are bringing home a fantastic, lifelong companion. Olive doesn't shine in a crowded adoption room, but she will absolutely blossom in a patient, loving home.
Could you be the lucky person to finally give Olive the forever home she so deeply deserves?
Interested ?
• 📩 Please contact Linda directly at [email protected]
• Please SHARE this post! Olive’s perfect person is out there, they just haven't seen her yet.

Eddie is a very special, sweet, calm boy. He will be devoted to his forever family - but it needs to be an extra special home because Eddie is FIV+. FIV is not transmissible to people and can only be passed between cats through deep bites. FIV does not shorten a cat’s life expectancy with proper indoor care and routine veterinary visits.
