$5 Friday to Help Lizzy 🐾

We pulled Lizzy from the shelter today. Not sure how long she was living on the streets, but the poor girl was covered in fleas & ticks and very matted.

We've treated the fleas & ticks but would like to get her groomed asap. Please consider making a small $5 donation to help with her grooming cost. Thank you for your support!

We have another newcomer and he is the best boy! This 1 yr old golden retriever was loved and spoiled by his former owner, but she was moving and couldn’t take him with her. 😢

Ollie is a typical happy-go-lucky golden and will bring so much joy to a lucky family. ❤️

Fostered in Forney, TX.

Meet Shadow, our Golden Tripod! 🐾💛

Shadow is a beautiful 5-year-old Golden Retriever with a heart as golden as they come. After suffering a serious injury in a car accident, one of her legs had to be amputated—but that hasn’t stopped this sweet girl from enjoying life!

Shadow has adjusted wonderfully to life on three legs and is ready to find a loving forever home.

Spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative) and microchipped. Loves other dogs and everyone she meets. 💕

Sadie (formerly known as Laverne) needs a foster or adopter! 💕🐾

She was adopted about a month ago, but Sadie is younger — and much more active — than expected. She loves playing with the grandchildren and is happiest when she gets plenty of activity, attention, and mental stimulation throughout the day.

Her ideal home would have kids, someone who is home often, and a family willing to work with her on leash skills — or take a few training classes together.

Sadie is incredibly sweet and affectionate! She’s a full-size dachshund, about 1.5 years old and 25 pounds. She is potty trained and good with other dogs.

📍 Currently located in McKinney, TX.

Update: Adopted! 🎉

Theo is back and doing better than ever! 🐾

After several weeks of training, he has gained confidence, learned to trust again, and is finally ready to find his forever home.

Theo was abandoned by his owners in a crate in a Target parking lot, leaving him stressed and fearful when we first got him. Now he’s happy, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s little shadow!

He’s easy to walk on a leash, good around other dogs (but not very playful), and would much rather cuddle in your lap and follow you wherever you go.

Theo is 1 year old, about 15 pounds, and doesn’t shed. Because he can still get skittish in certain situations, he would do best with kids 10+ or in a home with no children.

Tinker Bell is ready to sprinkle a little magic into someone’s life. 💕

This adorable 1-year-old golden retriever mix enjoys sunbathing and splashing in the water, playing with her stuffies and playing with other dogs.

She’s great on a leash, potty trained, and spayed.

She took a few days to decompress in her foster home, but has totally blossomed into a sweet and affectionate companion.

Fostered in Denton, TX.

Update: Adopted! 🎉

Meet Dory! This sweet 2-year-old mini doodle is about 33 pounds. We rescued her from a shelter and not quite sure what type of doodle. Maybe Goldendoodle or cockapoo?

She loves to cuddle, take naps and collect squeaky toys. 😂 She’s potty trained, crate trained, spayed and current on all vaccines.

Dory is fine with other dogs, but to be honest, she’s not looking for a furry playmate. She’d rather be snuggled up next to you on the sofa soaking up all the attention. 💕

She is currently being fostered in Carrollton, TX.

Meet Tinker Bell! This beautiful 1-year-old Golden Retriever mix came into foster care carrying a little anxiety and a big fear of being left behind. She reminds us why the 3-3-3 Rule is so important. It took her about three days to truly decompress, and once she realized she was safe, her sweet personality started to shine.

Today, you'll find her happily sunbathing in the yard, splashing in the water, playing with other dogs, and soaking up all the love she can get.

🐾 Spayed
🐾 Potty trained (and loves the dog door!)
🐾 Great on a leash
🐾 Gentle, affectionate, and calm in the house
🐾 Playful with other dogs
🐾 Easy to groom with her soft, beautiful coat

She does have some separation anxiety, so she'll need a family that understands she may need a little reassurance while she settles in. A consistent routine and patience will go a long way in helping her build confidence.

Tink could be happy as your one and only, with a playful canine companion, or even with a senior looking for a gentle best friend. She may be a little shy around men at first, but all she really wants is to feel safe and loved.

We're looking for someone who won't expect perfection on day one. Someone who understands that rescue dogs don't just need a home—they need time to believe it's truly theirs.

Could Tink be the missing piece of your family? 🐾
