We’re excited to share that The Warren Center has received a $1,500 Spark Good local grant from our local Walmart Garland - N Garland Ave!
This generous support will benefit our Family Education and Support Services, which support over 1,000 children each year by reducing barriers, easing stress, building community, and empowering parents with the tools they need to help their children thrive. Your support directly strengthens these services, ensuring families receive the guidance, resources, and connection they need.
We’re grateful for Walmart's partnership and their commitment to supporting families across North Texas.

🎄 Holiday Tips for Toddlers (1–3 Years)
The holidays can bring excitement — and lots of changes — for busy toddlers. Keep things fun and calm with these tips:
• Use visuals – Simple picture books or schedules help toddlers know what to expect each day.
• Offer choices – Let them decide small things, like brushing teeth before or after pajamas.
• Practice transitions – Use songs or timers to make switching activities easier.
• Keep routines steady – Stick to naps and mealtimes, even during travel or events.
A little structure (with flexibility) helps toddlers feel secure through all the holiday hustle. 💜

Bedtime Book Picks for Early Elementary (5–7 years)
At this age, children begin to explore stories with deeper themes and emotions. Books with a peaceful tone and calming visuals help them unwind while still sparking imagination and curiosity.
Recommended reads:
– The Dark by Lemony Snicket
– Zen Shorts by Jon J. Muth
– Sleep Like a Tiger by Mary Logue
– There’s a Wocket in My Pocket! by Dr. Seuss
– Owl Moon by Jane Yolen
Pro tip: Try reading together and talking about what’s happening in the story. These simple conversations help children build empathy, emotional understanding, and a lifelong love of reading.
💜 Brooks’ Next Big Step! 💜
You may remember Brooks, our featured child from this year’s Fantasy Football Draft Night! Since receiving his orthotics just three months ago, he’s made incredible progress.
Now, he’s walking toward his mom, and the joy on both their faces says it all. It’s a beautiful milestone that shows just how far he’s come.
We’re so proud of you, Brooks!
