**** Meet Jeff Kennedy ***
Jeff enlisted in the US Army in 1971 to start a lengthy and distinguished military career. He attended basic training at Fort Campbell Ky.
He later attended mortar school (11C) at Fort Polk Louisiana.
He was then deployed to Vietnam with the 101st Airborne located at Chu Lai, then the DMZ assigned to the First Cavalry until 1972.
Jeff came home and joined the 724th Engineer Battalion Co. C in Rhinelander.
He was again deployed to Slovonski Brod, Bosnia in 1997 with NATO Forces as a part of the peacekeeping mission.
He continued to serve in the Army National Guard until his retirement in 2020 with 29 years of service. When he wasn’t serving his country he was a heavy equipment operator and over the road truck driver just to name a few of his talents.
He continues to proudly serve his community and fellow veterans as part of the AMVETS, VFW, NCO Club and DAV.

The countdown continues for the Northwoods Honor Flight Benefit Golf ⛳️ outing with less than a week remaining.

Interested parties can still sign up to participate in the golf tournament.

Furthermore, opportunities for hole sponsorships are still available through today (Sunday). We are so grateful for the support of those who have already sponsored holes.

$200 for organizations or businesses
$100 for individual supporters

Matt and Sam will be out of the office during lunch hours tomorrow, Friday May 29th from 11:30 am-1:30 pm, to attend a luncheon for our DAV van volunteer drivers. Our drivers graciously donate their personal time to drive our veterans in the Northwoods to their VA medical appointments. We appreciate them beyond measure 🇺🇸
