I'm back at it for St. Patrick's weekend, playing ALL the Celtic songs that I know, which should be about half the setlist.

I play Celtic music all the time, which is kinda rare around here. It's always St. Patrick's Day at my shows. Some people really love it. If that kind of thing is your jam, all you have to do is walk in anytime/anywhere I'm playing and yell, "PLAY SOME IRISH MUSIC!!!!"

I'm switching to a new/old stage name! I went by Josh Oddity when I played in bands over ten years ago, and it still fits as well today as it did back then. Right now feels like a good time to make the switch, before the crazy summer gigging season starts. This page has been renamed as "Josh Oddity" so hopefully it shows up that way on your feed.

Last year for St. Patrick's weekend, I had a great run of five shows in five nights and never looked back. I've gigged consistently ever since, and it's time for a break. But first, three final shows this weekend:

Friday is 8-11 at the Pea Patch in Manitowish Waters. Saturday I'm at the Bottled Bean in Minocqua from 1-4 in the afternoon, then sneaking through the woods to St. Germain for one last rumpus at the KAIG Stand from 8-11 before a month of laying low. I have a lot of music, home, work and personal stuff to take care of during this time off.

It won't be long. I'll be back for another big St. Patrick's weekend and dive right back in for more gigging than ever. I'll post that schedule later. There's a lot of exciting things coming, if I spend my time wisely for the next month or so.

Hey if you're around Minocqua this weekend, American Pond Hockey is happening! It's very spectator friendly and I'll be singing there tomorrow at noonish in a tent. Come check it out!

Thank you Rhinelander, St. Germain and Manitowish Waters for a great week playing music. I had a lot of fun with everyone and met more new people than usual. If I could do this every day for the rest of my life, that would rule. I'm in the Dells with my family right now, and might make it to the Morgue's open mic on Tuesday night. Maybe. We'll see.

This weekend I'll play at American Pond Hockey in Minocqua at some point on Saturday. Next full length shows are the Pea Patch Motel & Saloon on Valentine's Day and The Bottled Bean on the 15th.
