💬"The graveyard is the richest place on earth because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.” - Les Brown

💥The first day I heard that quote by Les Brown I've begun to think with the end in mind.

📈I don't want to look back on my life when I'm sitting on my death bed and think, "I wish I would've..."

🏃‍♂️I want to live my life to the fullest.

👥I want to improve the lives of those around me.

💪🏻I want to help one individual each day realize their full potential.

⁉️What is a project or goal you have accomplished that has helped you realize your potential? Would love to hear in the comments!

💬"Someone's opinion of you does not have to become your reality." - Les Brown

I have heard several different opinions of me from outside sources over the years.

Would you like to know how many of them impacted me?

💥One.

While I was a full-time service volunteer in New York City, David L. Smith was my mentor and taught me that the sky is the limit.

No matter what people say about me, I can achieve anything I put my mind to.

That statement has proven true every day since I implemented it into my life.

Every day I choose to work a little bit harder, and to work a little bit faster towards my goals.

Every day I improve just a little bit more.

⁉️What projects are you currently working on? What's your next goal to accomplish in order to make the project successful? Let me know in the comments!

💬“Stop thinking about it. Stop Dreaming about it. Stop researching every aspect of it…Start doing it. Take that first step and make It happen. GET AFTER IT.” - Jock Willink

✈️When I moved from New York City back to Seattle Washington, I decided I was going to take a break from social media content creation.

Here are 3 things I learned during that time:

1️⃣Consistency is key
🔹When I stopped posting, I realized that I was growing on Instagram by about 800 followers per month.

🔹That's insane!

🔹I was only posting two times per day and replying to comments!

2️⃣It's easier to not be creative, but so much more rewarding to do so
🔹I was learning so much as I posted content on Instagram and Facebook.

🔹I was doing daily research about what I should post next and finding so many useful resources.

🔹I was increasing in knowledge.

3️⃣Begin with the end in mind
🔹Would I rather sit on the couch watching T.V. at 65 years of age, or be working at my enterprise I created as a youth?

🔹Having something to shoot for daily increases your likelihood of achieving the said goal in the future.

⁉️What have you learned from taking a break from social media?

💬"Life has no limitations except the ones you make." - Les Brown

💥As I was reading this morning I came to realize that there are five attributes that every extremely successful person has.

💪🏻Without them, it's almost impossible to succeed.

1️⃣Discipline
🔹We cannot rely solely upon daily motivation, it will not always be there.
🔹Having the mental and physical discipline to overcome and control our thoughts and actions will push us to prevail.

2️⃣Consistency
🔹Putting forth 15 minutes per day towards your passion will turn out to be a little over 91 hours each year.

3️⃣Grit
🔹"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard."

4️⃣Growth mindset
🔹They don't make excuses.
🔹They look at failures as learning opportunities.

5️⃣Hope
🔹Each successful person in this world looks at everything with optimism and positivity.
🔹Their glass is always half full.

⁉️What attributes would you add to this list?

💬“Most people consider life a battle, but it is not a battle, it is a game.” - Florence Scovel Shinn

How many of us go through our entire lives without realizing most aspects of our lives are just games?

How many of us would have been much more successful if we just figured out how to beat the school system or education system to get good grades?

💥 Here are three things I've learned thus far while aiming for my goal of 93% or higher in each one of my classes:

1️⃣Create a daily schedule
🔹Meditation or Journaling about three things I'm thankful for helps me be more positive and optimistic throughout the day
🔹Daily morning exercise has helped me have more energy and momentum
🔹Daily reading of self-help or spiritual literature helps me remain true to myself

2️⃣Do your work early, not on time
🔹Last-minute scrambles to turn in your work at 11:59 PM are a thing of the past
🔹Your day is less stressful when you know you have multiple days to turn it in
🔹If I haven't finished an assignment, I can always put it to the side and finish it tomorrow

3️⃣Stay Consistent
🔹The compound effect of even doing 1% better each day will amount to a 36% improvement of yourself after 365 days (James Clear)
🔹There are doors waiting to be opened to you, but you have to turn the handle
🔹Your future self with thank you for the hard work you put in five years ago

⁉️What are things that have made you successful in the game of life?

🏃‍♂️I may not be the fastest.
🎓I may not be the smartest.
💪🏻I may not be the strongest.
📈But I work the hardest.

💬In this world of constant comparison between you and me, we have to sit down and realize that, “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”

🎯One of my goals this year is to achieve a 93% in each one of my classes. Whats my reason? My friend James last semester told me that was his goal and I was really impressed.

Why was I impressed? My whole life I had thought that I was working at my absolute peak performance year after year and always fell short of a 93%.

This year, I decided to change my paradigm, and it looks like if you work hard enough you really can achieve anything.

What are you currently working towards? What paradigms do you need to change?

💬“Leave energy drainers alone. Don’t let them slow you down and stop your dream. Your possibilities are too important.” – Les Brown

🙏🏻This week I’ve learned the real power of saying “No.”

🎯After sitting down and writing down all my goals and any good thought that came to mind, I realized that saying yes to 20 things could also mean saying no to another 20 things.

❓By being true to myself I was able to take a step back and say, “what is the most important thing right now?”

🔹Then I began by saying “no” to anything that impeded my progress towards the highest priorities.

🔹I have to learn how to say no.

🔹If I don’t, I will be taken advantage of my entire life.

💥Learn to say no. Your future self with thank you.

💬"There are winners, there are losers, and there are those who have not discovered how to win. They just need some some coaching. All they need is some help and assistance. Just a little support." - Les Brown

❓What is something that you want? What will give life some special meaning?

💪🏻 When you've figured out what you want, and what will give your life special meaning, say "it's possible."

There are only two differences between winning and losing is the belief we have in our own heads. The biggest difference is what we tell ourselves when things get hard.

When things get hard, do you quit? Do you give up? Or do you push through? Do you tell yourself, "I can do this!"

🎯This morning, I had a really hard time getting up to go to the gym. I told myself, "I'll just go tomorrow..." Then, I had my wife wake me up with some encouraging words. "Come on honey, let's go. We can do it."

🙏🏻After a grumpy word or two from me, that's all it took to help me accomplish my goal. The second difference between winning and losing is your accountability partner.

Find someone that will pick you up on those days you fall down. Pick someone who will motivate you to be better.

💥Keep working.
💥Keep pushing.
💥You're almost there.
💥Victory is just around the corner.

💬”You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win.” - Zig Ziglar

🎯Did you know that about two-thirds of Americans do not have a plan for their life?

💥 How would you feel when you've reached a ripe old age to look back and think about all of the opportunities you didn't take due to not having a plan?

🚪I want to take every door possible during my lifetime and these are a few simple steps I've been following in order to do so:

1️⃣What do I desire?
🔹Sit down and think about what you would like to achieve in 2, 10, or even 30 years from now.
🔹By thinking of objectives several years out, it helps me define by daily, weekly, and monthly "milestones" in order to arrive at the destination.

2️⃣Build the timeline
🔹Take a look at your calendar, set an end date to the objectives you just set.
🔹Reverse engineer the timeline to the current day.
🔹Place your daily, weekly, and monthly "milestones" in your calendar to arrive on-time to your destination

3️⃣Turning your timeline into an actionable plan
🔹Are there things I need to measure along the way?
🔹When should I take a moment to reflect on what I've accomplished and maybe adjust?

4️⃣Stick to the plan
🔹Once I've clearly defined my desires, timeline, and plans, I need to stick to them.
🔹Get rid of distractions or obstacles in your path (like making sure you get 8 hours of sleep each night) so that you can better accomplish your daily goals.

⁉️What do you think about planning, preparation, and expectation? Would love to hear your thoughts on these subjects.

💬"A person with the right attitude says to himself or herself, I may be here in this situation, but it doesn’t mean I have to stay here. When faced with a challenge, do you ask: why me? Or do you accept the opportunity for you to grow?"
- Les Brown

How many of us have found us in this situation where we only have the two decisions above to make?

How many of us have chosen the former instead of the latter?

I know that I have.

1️⃣We have to choose daily to accept these opportunities for growth rather than ask, "why me?"

2️⃣When we look at every situation as an opportunity, we begin to count our blessings in our life.

3️⃣When we begin to count our blessings, we begin to be grateful for the things we have.

4️⃣When we are grateful for the things we have, we stop comparing ourselves to others.

5️⃣When we stop comparing ourselves to others, we walk with our heads up, in confidence.

🎯Change your focus, and you will change your life.

Do you want to walk with confidence?
