Outdoor Spring Activities in Rexburg
By Enoch Hunter

REXBURG — At long last, winter draws to a close. It may not have been as cold this year as ithas in the past few, but soon, one of the most pleasant periods of the year will be upon us. With weather warm enough that you can walk outside in a t-shirt and pants without turning into a popsicle, but not quite warm enough to easily drench yourself in sweat, early spring in Rexburg is the perfect time for some outdoor fun.

Rexburg is just a stone’s throw away from some of the nation’s most beautiful environments. Yellowstone National Park, for example, is just an eighty-mile drive. However, Rexburg itself has plenty of natural attractions that are right in our own backyard, where admission is set at the low, low price of free. Can’t beat that deal.

REXBURG — The Rexburg Farmer’s Market is preparing to open for another season, offering a space where fresh produce, locally handmade products, and community connection all come together in one place. He said, “To bring the community closer to the food and the farm” is the purpose of the market. He described the market as a place where people can not only shop but also build relationships with the people who grow and create what they consume.

“[We] invite vendors to come in bringing quality, fresh, local products to eat.”
