Rexburg Races

The Teton Dam Marathon is almost here!

The race has a new route this year, and some new areas will see runners on their roads.
Next Saturday, June 7th, roads in the area of Smith Park and Madison Jr. High School will be closed for the marathon route. See the attached image for a map of the affected streets. This and more information are also on the City website, along with a link to register for the races. Link at the bottom of the post.

Here is a list of Rexburg streets that will be affected:
-Barney Dairy Rd east of 3rd E
-3rd E between 2nd N & 4th N
-2nd N between 3rd E & Madison Ave
-Madison Ave
-1st N between 3rd E & Madison Ave

Road closures will begin around 5 am on the morning of the race and will remain in effect until the races are completed, hopefully by 2 pm.

Rexburg Races is still looking for volunteers who can help execute the Teton Dam Marathon on June 7, 2025! We are looking for help in the following areas:
Aid Station/ Race Course Support: Directing runners, handing out water and Gatorade, prepping aid station supplies, and cheering on runners!
Ham Radio Operator: Providing communication for the Teton Dam Marathon. Please contact Todd Smith at [email protected] for more information about this position.
All volunteers will be transported day of from the BYU Idaho Stadium to their spot on the race course and will be returned to Porter Park. If you are interested, sign up on rexburgraces.com or through the link on our profile.

The Teton Dam Marathon Kids Race is one lap around the park! A simple, short race for those energetic little legs. A t-shirt and finisher’s medal are included in registration! We can also guarantee a quiet, nap filled house after this race with 98% certainty.

We are still in search of volunteers to help us execute the Teton Dam Race! Sign up today to be a part of this major event!

Rexburg's Run Club is starting back up tomorrow! Come run with members of the Rexburg Race Crew and other racers from the community. Get some training in for upcoming races. You don't have to be an advanced runner to show up. Everyone is welcome! There will also be some special perks during our race series just for members of the run club :)

It's almost time for the beginning of our race series! The Teton Dam Tune Up will be Saturday May 3rd at Smith Park and there is no sign up necessary! We will begin the race at 8:00am that morning. Everyone is welcome! Water, Gatorade, and Snacks will be provided as well as some special perks for those who come. We can't wait to see you there!
