The goal of this music video was to feel like a living sketchbook, a space to practice and refine my animation process. It’s made up of six separate animations, each with its own color, all overlapping. I used the same watercolor-looking brush pen and drew every frame for each color across the entire video.

This music video is for a new original song that I recently recorded. I created the visuals as an experiment with layered footage, blend modes, and digital film damage. By desaturating the video into black and white and adding grain and texture, I aimed to create a gritty, aged aesthetic that sits somewhere between digital and analog.
