Fun experience today. Got a hard hat tour of the event space at the new in Reston. It’s going to be gorgeous. Can’t wait to do an event there.

Although it’s freezing outside, waking up to some sunshine and some eye brightening gels after completing my final event of the “season.” Fall season continued into winter with two weddings and seven Mitzvahs and the awesome leading her own events as well as working alongside me for the last 9+ years. Grateful to all of my amazing clients who trust both Sam and me. Now a much-needed break until March!

I’ve been waiting patiently for my first chance to work with the amazing Cyndi Lee Photography. It was everything I expected it to be and I have two more on the books with her!!! An amazing event all around!

Last event of 2023 was for this very special person who has been in my family’s life for over seven years. I was so touched that she allowed me to be in charge of her day. It was amazing and so is she (and her groom, and her family!). Congrats, Steph. You are a beautiful soul and you were an unbelievable bride and client! ❤️

I started my Spring event season on March 4th. I worked 12 weekends this season including my own daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. I attended at least 50+ baseball/softball games and did my best to be mom during all of it. It was an exhausting Spring, but last night was my final event for my dearest friend and it was a perfect way to end the season. I dropped my kids at camp today and so here, on this lounge chair, is where you’ll find me now! I am terrible at posting stories and photos and sharing my journey at my events. But thank you so much to everyone who trusts me to coordinate and execute their events. I’m looking forward to the fall season, but not without this, much-needed, summer break! Cheers to happy times and all of your events to come! 🥂

Way back last Spring when vaccines were just getting to the general public, I did my first big COVID-safe, COVID-conscious, outdoor event. It’s been full steam ahead since this event last year and it feels great!

This Bat Mitzvah was rescheduled from May. My client (and friend) had lost all hope of having a meaningful celebration for her daughter. So we had a meeting and re-imagined this beautiful backyard celebration that will be a night to remember for Julia and her friends. Thanks to the always talented for giving this family memories of this amazing weekend. And my first experience with .funcity which was a perfect addition to this party under the stars. And finally, thanks to Mother Nature for saving the rain for Sunday!
