Today marks the 54th anniversary of our parent corporation, Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. We extend our gratitude to ASRC leaders who had the vision and determination to make our organization a reality. We are humbled to play a small part in delivering sustainable value to our more than 14,000 Inupiaq shareholders. Here’s to future success!
Today, we celebrate ASRC’s 54th anniversary since incorporating in 1972.
One of 12 land-based Alaska Native regional corporations, ASRC was established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971 (ANCSA)—federal legislation that resolved legitmate aboriginal ownership of our ancestral homelands.
While the North Slope was the only region to oppose ANCSA, once enacted, our early leaders took action to build the foundation of our Corporation. They traveled door-to-door across the North Slope to enroll our original Iñupiaq shareholders.
By staying true to our Iñupiaq values and culture, ASRC has grown from three operating companies in Utqiaġvik to a nationwide presence spanning all 50 states, delivering sustainable value to our more than 14,000 Iñupiaq shareholders.
Quyanaqpak and taikuu to our past and present leadership for building ASRC with vision, resilience and a lasting commitment to our people.

Our annual STRIDE program is officially underway! 🎉
More than 20 interns have come together to kick off their 10-week journey with us, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them to the team. STRIDE is more than an internship. It's an investment in the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers and mission-driven professionals. Over the next 10 weeks, these talented individuals will gain hands-on experience, build lasting connections and make real contributions to the work we do every day.
Here's to a summer of growth, learning and big moments ahead. Welcome to the ASRC Federal family! 👏
Great leadership is rooted in purpose – knowing why we do, what we do. This week, we’ve gathered leadership for a 3-day summit to reflect on the why and the impact we create every single day for our shareholders and our customers. We’re discussing the value we’re delivering, aligning growth opportunities, learning how to communicate with confidence during times of change, and diving into the core values that guide everything we do.
We're looking forward to a meaningful and insightful summit!
